AAMVA PACE Award for Illusion of Control

Illusion of Control, a 30 second spot warning against the dangers of speeding has been awarded an AAMVA PACE Award from the American Association of Motor Vehicles Administrators. The PACE Awards recognize public relations, public affairs and consumer education excellence among the motor vehicle, law enforcement and traffic safety agencies across North America. They recognize creativity, cost effectiveness and the ability to reach consumers with a well crafted, measured and executed message.

Frantic produced Illusion of Control on behalf of Manitoba Public Insurance. The spot was directed by Darren Wall.

In 2008, the 30-second commercial “Light” also produced by Frantic for Manitoba Public Insurance was also recognized by the AAMVA.

Branded Content Applied Arts Win

Frantic’s “Wheels of Change” documentary has been recognized at the 2011 Applied Arts Advertising Awards in the TV/Cinema Commercials – Branded Content Single category.

The feature length documentary on bicycles in Africa has screened at international film festivals and is currently available on-line at thebicyclefactory.ca

Frantic Supports Launch of MissingKids.ca

On May 24th, Frantic was proud to play a role in the launch of Canada’s new national missing children resource centre, www.missingkids.ca

Frantic worked closely with the team at the Canadian Centre for Child Protecting to produce an on-line orientation video that played at the launch event in Ottawa and also greets visitors to the website.

Two AIM Awards for ACU

We’re thrilled to announced that Frantic played a role in two Achievment in Marketing (AIM) Awards taken home by Assiniboine Credit Union from the Marketing Association of Credit Unions. On behalf of advertising agency Fusion, we produced the 30 second “Our Stories” spot that was honoured out of over 150 entries.
